Asana Integration Guide 🚀

Integrate your Asana account with Chrono Platform to effortlessly import projects and tasks, ensuring your team's work is accurately tracked and categorized. Follow the steps below to get started!


Step 1: Connect Your Asana Account 🔗

  • OAuth Flow:
    Log in to Chrono Platform and navigate to the Integrations section.
    Click on the Asana integration option and sign in using the OAuth flow.

  • Grant Permissions:
    Authorize Chrono Platform to access your Asana data securely. This is essential for a smooth integration.


Step 2: Select Your Asana Workspaces 📁

  • Choose Workspaces:
    Once your account is connected, you'll see a list of your available Asana workspaces.

  • Confirm Selection:
    Select the workspaces you want to sync. Chrono Platform will then import all projects from these workspaces and keep them in sync automatically.


Step 3: Import and Categorize Tasks 📊

  • Project Sync:
    Chrono Platform imports all projects from your selected workspaces and keeps them updated in real time.

  • Task Import:
    Next, all tasks from your projects are imported.

  • Accurate Categorization:
    Tasks are automatically categorized by:

    • User: Who completed the work.
    • Project: The related project.
    • Task: The specific task performed.
    • Activity: The type of work or activity executed.

This structured data helps you easily track performance, manage resources, and gain valuable insights into your team's productivity.
